Shane Walsh has a unique style that’s all his own. As we set out to create a family of images for this folk artist, it was clear that our choice in location would be a particularly important decision. We ultimately called upon The Salton Sea for its visual and historical character. The abandoned communities, barren landscapes, and dramatic weather created a gorgeous contrast. The final images have been celebrated by the artist and Takamine, his guitar sponsor.
