Afghan Women's National Cycling Team
National Geographic has nominated the Afghan Women's National Cycling Team as Adventurers of the Year for 2016. This is an incredible group of humans who, through no fault of their own, face real persecution with every pedal stroke. They live, love and work in an active conflict zone, but they also understand the power of dreams.

Documentary filmmaking is, in purest form, an observational art. Story is crafted by listening, watching, reacting to real events and, when possible, making the camera disappear. While a high level of excellence in can be achieved with this premise, the emphasis remains on the subject. Our goal for the viewer is not that they remember us, or even our style, but that they walk away thinking, or they walk away changed.
As lead production partner for Liv, Venture Visuals is committed to helping this fast-growing brand celebrate, motivate, share and evolve. Storytelling begins with real women in mind. From trips to the farmer’s market to the blood, sweat and gears of race day, our approach is highly visceral. This is about more than a bicycle. It’s about a common bond.
